How the questions were chosen
Candidates are the questions of the seven Daily BS Tests before the championship opens, from the previous Friday to Thursday. Normally the ones the fewest readers got right are frozen on Friday morning. When no such selection has been published by 12:00 UTC on Friday, as for this week so far, the 10 are picked by a house estimate of how hard each type of question usually is, spread across stories and days.
Scores count correct answers. Ties are broken by confidence calibration (a Brier score, as in the Daily BS Test), then by who filed first. The answers are in this page for anyone who goes looking, so the table runs on the honour system. It is for fun.
